ROASTING & ORDERING:
We roast 3-4 days per week.
If you are ordering house blends or decaf, there is always rested stock available to ship within 1-2 days. If you are ordering single origin espresso's or filter's, the shipping time is dependant on the next roast date of those coffees.
If you are ordering volume as a guest, please try and place your order at least a week in advance, so we can schedule your roasts and you can receive them fresh and in good time.
SHIPPING:
We ship daily Monday–Friday in the UK.
Shipping for UK mainland is by Parcelforce (depending on weight) on a next day service. This does not include weekends or bank holidays. *We are unable to guarantee the next day service, as a third party provides this service, which is out of our control. Shipping over 12KG of coffee in the UK is free (UK mainland only).
If you are in a rush and need coffee FAST, you can use the DHL service, which costs more but guarantees delivery.
We deliver locally in EH postcodes each week on Wed & Fri by van in reusable 6KG tubs. If you order two tubs or more, delivery is free, with a flat rate charge fo £7.50 for anything under this volume.
Shipping for International is with Parcelforce & DHL. This does not include weekends or bank holidays. Times vary based on destination, but Europe is typically 2–4 days and ROW is between 3–9 days. All shipments are tracked and signed for.
MIN ORDER QUANTITIES:
Local (EH) orders for tubs are a minimum of 1 tub per drop. The 12KG min weight for free delivery is fixed to espresso, not any other products.
Orders for retail coffee must be a minimum of 4 x 250g bags per coffee, or they will be charged at retail prices.
Orders for retail chocolate must be a minimum of 6 x 210g bags per coffee, or they will be charged at retail prices.
PAYMENT TERMS:
Payment is pro-forma unless otherwise agreed, requiring payment before any orders are shipped. Coffee will not be shipped until payment has been received, unless you have a confirmed credit account.
If you have a wholesale credit account with Machina, your order will be processed to our accounting system, and your agreed terms will be applied. This system also manages Go-Cardless, our automated direct debit system, which will charge your account in agreed time frame.
DAMAGES / CLAIMS:
Any damages to your shipment or issues with coffee need to be reported to us within two days of receipt of your order. You should email roastery@machina-coffee.co.uk with the tracking ID and images.
